CHEN ZHEN 'RETURN & REVERBERATE'

As an artist who went from the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) to the international art world, Chen Zhen’s creative roots are deeply connected to this place. Centered on the theme of “Return” and 'Reverberate,' this exhibition follows a “dual return” narrative: looking inward to trace the origins of his artistic vision and looking outward to explore his global resonance, creating a dialogue across time and space within the campus context.

The exhibition is divided into two sections—“Gaze Back: Chen Zhen and STA” and “Echos: Chen Zhen and the World”—offering a focused presentation of both the intellectual depth and the human warmth found in his art.
