A new version of 'Pill Clock' will be shown during the group exhibition 'Copistes' at Centre Pompidou Metz, 14 June 2025 to 12 January 2026. Carsten has been invited to produce a new work with the idea that each invited artist chooses a work from the Louvre collection, that they then make a copy of. This new version of 'Pill Clock', will have pills containing small traces of residue from 'Portrait of Julie Récamier' (1800) by Jacques-Louis David, leftovers following the restoration of the painting.
