When Lorenzo Fiaschi, co-founder of Galleria Continua, met Pepi Marchetti Franchi, director of Gagosian in Rome a few months ago, the pandemic was still a completely unpredictable event. On that occasion the two shared a thought: the importance and the need to create a system to liven up the artistic and creative world that operates in Italy, to enhance the cultural heritage of our country and its unique and extraordinary beauty. Recent events have turned this intention into an urgent need, making it take shape and substance. This is how some of the most distinguished contemporary art, modern art and ancient art galleries in Italy - from north to south, from east to west – have come together with this aim.

Alfonso Artiaco (Naples), Galleria Continua (San Gimignano), Massimo De Carlo (Milan), Gagosian (Rome), Kaufmann Repetto (Milan), Massimo Minini (Brescia), Franco Noero (Turin), Carlo Orsi (Milan), Galleria dello Scudo (Verona) have formed a working group inviting approximately fifty of the best galleries located throughout Italy to take part in the project.

Encouraged by the desire to be a team, the new platform is aimed at a national and international audience, an audience that loves art and culture, with the purpose of allowing the discovery of Italy in all its beauty and contemporaneity through the personal and unique point of view of the gallery owners,

To make the experience immersive, inclusive and itinerant as well as endlessly surprising, prestigious partners will be involved including cultural institutions, museums, foundations and also fashion, design, dining and hospitality: Italian excellence is conveyed in its artistic and creative expressions, a result of the choices and therefore of the taste and sensibilities of the participating gallery owners.

Regularly enriched with new content from films, stories, virtual museums and virtual spaces, the platform will explore the high-quality nature of "made in Italy" in order to recount 360 ° of Italian culture and our "lifestyle" that the whole world admires.

The purpose of this platform is to give visibility to Italy at a time when - due to the still existing problems and fears harbored by many - movement between countries is difficult, as it is to increase the desire to return, as soon as possible, to travel to our country to visit galleries and follow their recommendations to discover a new Italy.

Italy is our strength!
