LEILA ALAOUI

SOMETHING art space is pleased to present the first solo exhibition dedicated to Leila Alaoui in Sub-Saharan Africa, in Abidjan. Bringing together a selection of photographs and moving-image works, the exhibition explores identity, memory and the politics of representation through Alaoui’s deeply humanist gaze. Presented in Abidjan, at a crossroads of West African mobilities, the show invites an intimate reflection on migration, exile and everyday dignity, while opening a dialogue between Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
