'Passage - Art on the Gemmi Pass'

This summer, the high-altitude landscape of the Gemmi Pass hosts a striking intervention by Sislej Xhafa, part of the Passage art program. Situated along one of Switzerland’s most storied alpine crossings, Xhafa’s work engages with themes of migration, transit, and invisibility—quietly embedded in the dramatic terrain. Curated by Beate Engel and Peter Erismann, the SAC exhibition invites visitors to experience contemporary art amidst breathtaking natural scenery, where the path itself becomes part of the narrative.
