'Rettet den Wald'

"Rettet den Wald!" called out the German artist and anthroposophist Joseph Beuys in 1971. With this appeal he and fifty students went to war to stop the felling of part of Düsseldorf's Grafenberger forest. Beuys was one of the first eco-artists and as the issues are becoming truly urgent, many are following in his footsteps. Rettet den Wald! Save the forest! Save the forest! Is a group show that shows how contemporary artists are committed to endangered nature.
