For the 4th edition of Straperetana, conceived by Paola Capata and Delfo Durante and curated by Saverio Verini, works from 21 artists will be dotted around the small village Pereto in Abruzzo, creating a kind of artistic and spatial dialogue with historic buildings, small alleyways and humble dwellings. This year’s edition is called “Produttori di silenzio”, taking its inspiration from the writer Giorgio Manganelli’s expression, who in 1987 defined Abruzzo as a “great producer of silence”.
