AI WEIWEI. WHO AM I?, 2024

Chinese artist and dissident Ai Weiwei presents a groundbreaking show at Palazzo Fava, featuring some of his most iconic works. Highlights include silk and bamboo kites from Shanhai Jing, Lego recreations of masterpieces like Sleeping Venus (Giorgione), a critique of illegal abortions in China, and The Last Supper, where Ai Weiwei portrays himself. Specially created for this exhibition are works inspired by Guido Reni, Raphael, and Giorgio Morandi, alongside his famous vases.

Curated by Arturo Galansino, a leading contemporary art critic, the exhibition explores Ai Weiwei’s legacy of protest and provocation. This new edition includes 32 additional pages with updated images from the show.
