ANTONY GORMLEY. VESSEL, 2012

This is the exhibition catalogue accompanying Antony’s installation at Galleria Continua in 2012, San Gimignano (Italy).

Featuring an interview between Mario Cristiani and Antony, an essay by Mario Codognato, and excerpts from the symposium, Re-imagining the City, that took place in San Gimignano on the opening weekend in April (speakers included acclaimed sociologists Richard Sennett and Saskia Sassen, and Anna Coliva of the Galleria Borghese), the catalogue is lavishly illustrated, bearing witness to the second of Antony’s major interventions in Tuscany, and acting as a “twin” to the 2004 publication, Fai spazio, prendi posto (Making Space, Taking Place).
