The artworks of this exhibition tell us about a short-circuit, regardless of topics or techniques; they provoke a reversal of perspective, a “twist” that is necessary now more than ever.
In her work “Fosca Livrea”, Marta Spagnoli confronts the disorientation of the blank canvas by reworking notions of a symbolic sphere of our history through unanchored movement, from which to develop a new narrative.

The exhibition, curated by Carlo Sala, looks into the myth of Danaë through Antonio Bellucci’s (1654 - 1726) painting, “Danae” which tells the story of this heroine of Greek mythology who was imprisoned in a tower by her father Across, King of Argos. 19 contemporary painters, one of whom is Marta Spagnoli, have been selected to exhibit in this exhibition in order to visually and conceptually renew our perception of the ‘myth’.

Blue, the most ethereal colour, a protagonist of art for centuries both ancient and modern and a precious pigment that evokes strong emotions, connotations and experiences. The spaces of the museum will be invaded by the explosive power of an intense and magic color, with works by Giovanni Ozzola and Marta Spagnoli the project for a multiple exhibition includes five exhibition events set up simultaneously in the rooms of the main floor.
